Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were involved in a car crash on Saturday night, when their vehicle was hit by a drunk driver.
The couple was being driven home in a private car in Gloucester, Massachusetts, at around 9:50 p.m. when they were struck by a grey Subaru station wagon.
The Subaru is reported to have switched lanes and smashed into the front of Bullock's car. No injuries were reported.
Police attending the scene identified the Subaru driver as Lucille P. Gatchell, from Gloucester, who was arrested after failing a sobriety test.
Gatchell allegedly had two and a half times the legal alcohol limit in her system; she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay in marked lanes.
The 64-year-old was released and is expected to face arraignment on Tuesday.
Gloucester Police Lieutenant Gerry Cook insists Bullock and her husband were lucky to escape unscathed.
He tells people.com, "They were shaken up, needless to say. But they were fine--he was hugging her. Jess and Bullock were hugging. They said they were fine, they didn't need medical attention. There were quite a few people snapping pictures of them.
"It's unfortunate. But it shows you that no one is immune from drunk drivers, no matter how famous you are."

Hi, I am sorry, for not updating so long but I had a good reasons for that. I promise, this time, updates will come sooner! And btw. A new design that will come, will not be mine.. Some one promised me to make a new design by her self. We will see how grate it is. And yes, if some one of you here would like to make a design for this fansite your self, do it! If I will like it, I promise that this deisgn of your will last at last 2-3 months on this website.

The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 2, at the upscale Skye restaurant in Peoria.
